The woman who broke the Obama "small town" story for The Huffington Post may have come under relentless fire from some Obama supporters after the news broke, but she has one word to describe the response she's since received from the Obama campaign itself: "Classy."

Specter Diagnosed With Cancer Recurrence

In a breaking news story we wish we didn’t have to discuss, Senator Specter (R-PA) has been diagnosed with an “early recurrence of Hodgkin’s disease, which is a cancer of the lymph system,” the Associated Press reports. Senator Specter took on treatment for the same form of cancer in 2005 and has recently released a book detailing his battle.
Triple Top in Exxon Mobil (XOM) Weighs on Broad Market

In late March, I alerted readers to a triangle forming in Exxon Mobil (XOM). The stock broke out from its triangle and continued higher in textbook fashion. The upward trend was steady and pretty easy to trade. Importantly, XOM's breakout and follow-through rally helped the S&P 500 ($SPX) and Dow Jones Industrial Average ($INDU) move higher.

Several newspapers and The Associated Press filed suit Friday against the operator of a collection of Web sites, alleging "wholesale misappropriation" of their news content that infringes on their copyright.
